About

Erika Reed holds an MFA in Medium- and Material-Based Art from Kunsthøgskolen i Oslo (Oslo National Academy of Art), and a BA in Studio Art from Reed College in Portland, Oregon. 

Erika grew up in Rhode Island, USA and Trondheim, Norway, and currently lives and works in Oslo, Norway, with studios at Blaker Gamle Meieri and Blaker Skanse. For thirteen years, she spent her spare time fighting fire for the US Forest Service, The Bureau of Land Management, and the City of Oslo. These days, she moonlights as a preparator at the Munch Museum in Oslo.
